At Least It's Cozy Inside

This is the tree in my front yard. It is miserably cold and icy outside. Nice and cozy in the house though. I made cookies, got all my dusting and vacuuming done, and now the tea kettle is boiling so I can relax for a few minutes.

I have to get out in the weather soon to drive carpool and I'm so not looking forward to it. Six kids, three schools and icy roads...not a fun combination. I want to curl up on the couch with a book and my knitting and not leave the house until it warms up.

Well, nuts. I would have tagged you, but you're one of those "famous" bloggers, so I didn't know if you'd be interested. ;) Love the icy tree...we've got some snow, but nothing like that.

"Famous" blogger? (giggle...) Well I don't know about that, but thank you! How sweet!

I sometimes participate in memes and sometimes not, so that's not much help is it? It just really depends on how much time I have.

Oh brrr! I know what you mean about running around, except I now have a driver! My life changed when that happened! LOL!

That's a great picture of the tree. Winter is so full of beauty! On the other hand, the icy roads... those aren't so beautiful of course. Hope you stay safe on all your travels. :)

That's what it looks like here also. I'm lucky enough not to have to go out. Our streets were fairly good yesterday. We are expecting two inches of snow. Your blog is beautiful without being overly fussy. Doylene

Now I feel sorry for you! I don't like driving on ice either!
