Checking The List

Hotpoint, Refrigerators, USA, 1951
1951

I'm checking things off the list for getting the house ready for a cookout this Saturday and company coming Sunday night. I've made lots of progress which is why I haven't even had time to check email much less blog.

I now have two lovely sparkling clean refrigerators! Even the "overflow" fridge in the laundry room is clean which I have to tell you is a small miracle. Cleaning the fridge is my least favorite chore and that one hardly ever gets cleaned. Out of site, out of mind. :) I also have clean ceiling fans and clean blinds (at least in the guest room). I've even been moving furniture to vacuum underneath, dusting baseboards and going through the girls' dresser and closet.

Tomorrow the guest bathroom gets a thorough going over and the kitchen floor will be clean enough to eat off of.

Wow, I am impressed! I am doing a bit of the same over here.

Ds is home from West Point for his summer leave. I had his room all ready for him, so it's on him now. But Sunday I have dd coming from Kansas to see him, so I am working on her room. And Monday we are having a mini family reunion/group birthday party. I will have 20 people for lunch/dinner, seven of whom have a birthday this month.

The whole house needs an overhaul!

I had a graduation party fri. for 40 people, this week i have been cleaning up after the party, and thunderstorm. My son never really dated, and never brought a girl home until Red as my husband calls her. My son brought her home introduced us, and 2 weeks later, told us he was marrying her, and he did 5/26/07.

When my husband and I were married his father had open heart surgery. So I did not met his father for some time. I was a fairly new bride and they called to say they were coming in to meet us . I cleaned house top to bottom . I hung white curtains in the room they were to stay , put on a white bedspread. They were about to arrive . I was in putting finishing touches to the room. My husband walks in to ask me something. He had a Large glass of red koolaid. He trips and koolaid spilled on the white bed ,curtians ect. I can laugh 17 years or more later but you bet I wasn't laughing then.... Good luck with your guest and no red koolaid.

I have a question. I did an update at 6:45 and it didn't show up on google or the dashboard until 7:25. Is that how feedburner works?

In the past my posts showed up on people's dashboards immediately (because they would respond).

Do you know what would happen to my feed if I removed feedburner? Thanks for any help.
