They just don't make music videos like they used to do they? :) Be sure and watch the Nicholas brothers dancing toward the end. They are fantastic!

Kindle Favorites
Some of you have asked how I've been liking my Kindle. While I will never give up "real" books (especially for decorating or art books), I really love it. I love how portable it is. It's like I'm carrying around dozens of books everywhere I go. I also love how easy it is to read in bed which is where I do the majority of my reading. The downside is that it's so tempting and easy to purchase a new book. Luckily there are so many good free ones available that I haven't spent much on ebooks. Yet.
Here are some of my favorite Kindle books that I have finished reading or that are on my Kindle waiting to be read. Many of them are free.
Pride and Prejudice This is currently free. Both my girls have read and love it.
Little Women Another freebie. I haven't read it in years and I'm looking forward to reading it again.
The Secret Garden This one is free as well and believe it or not, I've never read it. Cindy read it last year and loved it, so I'm sure I'll enjoy it too.
The Wind in the Willows I still love it.
The Phantom of the Opera I loved the movie, so I'm guessing I'll enjoy the book too.
Poems by Emily Dickinson
Housework Blues This one isn't free, but it's definitely worth the price (currently $3.99)
The Holy Bible
The Scarecrow of Oz I've always had a soft spot for the OZ books. This one is free as well.
Living Organized This one isn't free like it was when I found it, but it's a great book on organizing. Especially for us right-brained folks.
Battle Hymn of the Tiger Mother No, this one wasn't free, but I couldn't resist it after all the talk I had been hearing about it. I actually really enjoyed it.
Here are the books currently on my wish list. You can download a free sample of books you're interested in, and I've done that for all of these which makes them all the more tempting. :)
Urban Pantry
168 Hours: You Have More Time Than You Think
NurtureSchock: New Thinking About Children
Inspirations
Georgette Heyer's Regency World
One Thousand Gifts: A Dare to Live Fully Right Where You Are
The Thoughtful Dresser
Half Broke Horses
Joie de vivre

Happy Weekend!
Hopefully you're not all like me with a to-do list as long as your arm and an email inbox approaching 4 figures. But if you are (and even if you aren't,) I want to encourage each of you to do something fun this weekend! Do something that makes you giggle and makes you happy! Life is short, and we want our kids to grow up remembering a happy family, right? Do it for them! :)
Have a happy go lucky weekend, and remember to wear your favorite socks!

February Blahs
What is it about this time of year? Usually we're having at least an occasional warm day by February, but here we are readying ourselves for another blast of winter weather.
This is the time of year when I really have to make myself stick to a routine and get things done or I would settle on the couch with my Kindle and accomplish absolutely nothing. That's part of the reason I haven't been blogging much lately. I've been rewarding myself with computer (and Kindle) time only after I've finished everything on my list. As you can guess, computer time doesn't happen very often.
Hopefully you're all much better organized than I am and your routine is humming right along. Stay warm and I'll be back soon!
