Snow Day

No work or school for us today. The roads are too icy.

So we go outside to play until we are frozen...

Look at my poor rosemary plant.

The kids were "ice skating". I was just praying no one wound up with bruises or broken bones (which would have been a certainty if I had been sliding around out there).

Then we come inside to warm up...

Something warm to drink.

Some delicious scones

A warm fire.

And some good music

  6. You've reminded me that I've not gone skating yet this winter! Not that I do a lot, but I do like to get out there now and again! Hmmmm..wonder if I'll get a chance this weekend. Probably not, but next weekend is a more likely possibility. Good thing I don't have to skate to have me a cup of hot chocolate!

  7. Brrrrr that looks cold! We are freezing too here in the UK, but the idea of scones and hot tea are what I like most about this time of year, so cosy
