I made The Pioneer Woman's
homemade chicken and noodles Saturday night and they were delicious! Just the thing for a cold winter weekend spent mostly indoors.
I did have to venture out to buy groceries on Saturday with everybody else in town (I could hardly get my basket down the aisle), but other than that we had a nice weekend. How was your weekend?
That dish looks really good! We make a version of this too....but I have to say I popped over to see the recipe because the color on that dish is just beautiful!!! Ours usually ends up very pale.....I can't wait to try it with the tumeric! What color it adds!!! I'm in Ohio....our snow melted off this weekend but it was still really cold...brrrr! Keep warm everybody and keep the family table filled with hot cooked LOVE!!
ReplyDeletei so want to be the PW! ;o) thanks for testing and letting us know!!!

Thank you for posting a link to this soup. It looks so delicious and I'm making it this weekend.
ReplyDeleteLove your blog, btw.
Hi and yummmmm....
ReplyDeleteSo funny. I was thinking about how I had a neighbor whom I didn't know well bring us home-made chicken noodle soup during a January cold snap after my 2nd son was born, and I felt so warmed by her gesture - I will forever associate chicken-noodle soup with that thoughtful gesture. We lived in Ohio at the time....and then I was your first commenter, Moxie, is in Ohio and mentioning how cooooold it is there! I always get a kick out of funny little coincidences like that!
May try this recipe this weekend.

Mmmm. That looks so good right now. Even better than the ice cream I'm eating!
