Healthy Lunches

Kitten in a Lunchbox, Retro
Lunchbox

It's already time to start thinking about back to school. I don't pack a lunch for my kids every day, but I do find myself packing them quite often, plus I pack lunches for Mike. It's hard to think of interesting, tasty and healthy things to pack day in and day out without totally blowing your budget on prepackaged items. Peanut butter and jelly only goes so far... Here are some great links with plenty of inspiration.

  2. Great links!

I homeschool so don't have to worry about lunch boxes, but for some reason, lunch is the hardest meal of the day for me to come up with new ideas.

    Thanks!

  4. I just discovered your blog. It's so wonderful! I was reading through older posts and found your recipe for homemade salsa. We have some fresh jalapenos from my parents' garden, so I jumped up and made the salsa. It's great! Thanks for this wonderful blog and that really yummy, easy recipe! :-)

  7. Thanks for the great links! I too, have a young son and love to find new quick and easy recipes that he will enjoy.

I have another site to throw in the mix as well - iLunchBox.com.

It is a relatively new site, but has a ton of recipes for school-aged children.

Thanks again and have a great day!
