I'm feeling a little better today. Thank you all so much for your prayers! Mike took me to the library so I could get a few books and I also got Roman Holiday on DVD. I just love to have a stack of good books waiting to be read. One of the books is called Sew What! Skirts and it has the CUTEST projects! One (shown in the picture) is a skirt made from a vintage tablecloth. I am going on the hunt for a tablecloth! :)
I absolutely love Roman Holiday! The story is so sweet, & of course, Audrey Hepburn is gorgeous. Looks like you've lots of good reading ahead of you...I hope you can find a tablecloth that inspires you to try that skirt in the book. :o)

I love the Sew What Skirts book. I borrowed it from the library so often that my teen daughter told me to buy it. Si I did. I love the skirt that you have the book opened to. Now just to find a cute tablecloth!
ReplyDeleteGotta love books!! Nothing makes me happier than a stack of new books to read. I need to get myself back to the library!!
ReplyDeleteHope you don't mind if I link your blog to mine!! Love your blog!!
I love Roman Holiday! But I am kind of a nut when it comes to old movies.
ReplyDeleteOh I agree, the books take your mind off of things and get the creative juices flowing..and the DVD...and time of relaxation...of course, I love Little House on the Prairie, Sense and Sensabilty, Anne of Green Gables and this weekend my beloved who is getting over this bug too and I watched The Hiding Place (my favorite movie) and Epicenter ( I recommend this on)
ReplyDeleteHope you are feeling better each day.

Ooooh, now my hubby has another reason for me to be so detained at flea markets - searching for vintage tablecloths! Beautiful skirt, what an awesome project!
ReplyDeleteAnd I see P&P on that stack. ;o) What a wonderful and good "feel better" read! Hope you have a restful and relaxing day.
Glad you are feeling better! :)
