The Simple Woman's Daybook - June 1st

For Today...

Outside My Window...The heat is already taking hold for the day and my sweet little geraniums are blooming their heads off.

I am thinking...How much I enjoy the sweet, lazy pleasures of summer.

I am thankful for...This time with Peter at home.

From the kitchen...It's getting too hot to do lots of cooking, so I think we'll have a cold pasta salad for supper.

I am wearing...a cute little chocolate brown knit knee length skirt with a ruffle at the bottom and a green v-neck t-shirt. Bare feet.

I am reading... nothing at the moment. I am desperate to get to the library!

I am hoping...to have a wonderful summer.

I am creating... a menu plan for the week.

A picture thought...

Hi!

I’ve added a Mr. Linky at Grandmother Wren’s to make it easier for the Summer Daybook ladies to find one another while Peggy is on vacation.

Please stop by on Mondays and add your link!

I've just bought some more scented-leaf geraniums. The flowers are quite insignificant but the scents from the bruised leaves are glorious.
