Cry Baby
It has really been one of those days! Between Mike and I, we have been on hold for probably 2 hours. We are having all sorts of headaches with our Payflex health savings account. I am so frustrated with them I want to scream! We have a Payflex "debit card" to pay for out of pocket health expenses from our account, thinking that would be more convenient. The card was declined at the dentist's office (even though we have plenty of money in the account), so I had to pay for 3 kids' dental visits out of my nearly non-existent grocery money today! Why does everything that is supposed to be convenient turn into so many headaches? Is this really worth the tax savings?
So Mike is grouchy, I'm grouchy, we have no milk and I want to crawl in bed and put a pillow over my head.
Sorry about the negative quality of this post. I'm sure my natural optimism will return tomorrow. :)

Oh no, are you kidding me? It's like when it rains, it pours, huh? You poor sweetie. Are they going to reimburse you the money so that you will be able to get groceries?
(((HUGS)))
Yes, we'll get the money back, but it will probably be 6 to 8 weeks...
If we can just get through this month I think we'll be doing pretty well in February and March! :)
That is just RIDICULOUS. I hope they throw a bonus on there (not that they will - that would be too helpful!)
Hope your week gets better!!!
Hmmmm... I've had a couple post like yours lately.
Things like that can be so frustrating. I hope it doesn't take long for you to get reimbursed.
I'm so sorry you've had a bad day! Sometimes it's good for you to just crawl in bed and pull the covers up.... Tomorrow is a new day. I hope it's better for you!
Bless you sweetie--and thanks for being REAL! :)
we've had a bit of trouble with ours too lately, as in we lose it if we don't use it.... and the statement that came in the other day says we have only used a very small fraction of what they have taken out.
I realize this is the polar opposite of what you have going on, basically, but it is still frustrating nonetheless.
Although we are out of bread.
(((( hang in there )))))
Thank you ladies! I'm actually feeling better already. I plopped in front of the TV with the kids to watch American Idol, made some soup (very easy) for supper, and skipped out on the band booster meeting. :)
OMG, that's part of what is so frustrating with this. We have plenty of money in our HSA account, but they won't let us get to it! Mike finally got through (they hung up on me while I was on hold) and they said they have it fixed now. We'll still have to wait on the reimbursement, but at least we can use the card the next time we have to go to the Dr. or dentist.
Oh, PLUS Cindy came home with a note from the school nurse today saying she needs glasses. It's really sort of comical. :)
