So Much Fun!

Retrohousewife came to town this weekend and we had so much fun! Saturday night our husbands and children were hunting, at football games, or otherwise occupied so we were able to have dinner together. I don't remember the last time just the two of us did something together.

We went to dinner at The Cracker Barrel. The food just hit the spot and we had the cutest most bubbly little waitress. We decided that Greg needs to eat at Cracker Barrel soon. :) We had a ball shopping and looking at everything in the store after we ate and Retro bought a country gospel CD. We of course had to open the CD right away and listen to it while we were driving home and sing at the top of our lungs. Retro says we were doing our best Ethel Merman impressions. You should hear our version of "Turn You Radio On"...not quite as good as this version. :) It's a good thing it was dark or we might have made quite an impression on the other drivers. At one point the kids called me and I was so tickled I could hardly answer the phone. Now that's what i call a fun time!
